Martz Chassis Pro Touring GT Mustang
Two newly completed Martz Chassis Mustangs at the Michigan International Speedway!!

1965 &
1968 GT 500 CSS at their first outing after completion.


The 1965
Mustang house car has a 392" stroker engine with a Demon 4 barrel carb.
the transmission is a tremec 5 speed. Rear assembly is a ford 9" 3•50
ratio
with a Gleason Traction Control. 17x8 Cobra R wheels with 215/45ZR/17
Falken's
on front and and 255/45ZR/17 Falken's on the rear. The front and rear
suspension
systems are the Martz Chassis Road Racing Kits equipped with headers,
3"
Bullit mufflers and 3" exhaust pipe out the back.

The 1968
GT 500 CSS is also the Martz Chassis Road Racing set up with 6 piston
Wilwood
Brakes and Afco Racing shocks & springs. It is equipped with
a 630 HP all Aluminum 427 2-4's engine, Richmond 5 speed Transmission,
9" N 3•70 Detroit Locker rear, Moser axles and Wilwood Discs. It rides
on 17x8 225/ZR40 fronts and 18x9.5 265/ZR/18 rears. It is equipped with
headers, 3" Dyno-max mufflers and 3" tail pipes out the back. The "68
is
owned by Barry Smith of Smith Transport.





We ran our
"65 on the Michigan Road course....

and reached
speeds of over 150 mph.

We also
took Barry Smith's GT 40's to the show

This GT
40 has a 427 620 HP Weber equipped engine installed here at Martz
Chassis,
INC. It was also equipped with our special constructed 180° header
system.
David Wagner did the final adjustments on the Webbers, throttle cables,
wiring, shifting linkage and air conditioning at his Michigan Factory.
